My friend and I got hungry and stumbled upon Baekjeong and decided to try it. upon arriving, we were greeted with an amazing staff. Due to the great service we received by Marvin, we had an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We had heard great things about this place and it certainly lived up to the hype. As soon as we walked in, we were grateful for the warm atmosphere and cozy lighting. You can tell with the layout and how the servers move around that the restaurant was well organized and clean. Our server, Marvin, was beyond top tier service. Making sure all our questions were asked and our expectations were met. He really knew how to convince us in terms of meat choices in the huge menu and had really great recommendations. After a tough decision, we decided to get the beef combo + beef tartar and the brisket hot stone fried rice. He asked us how we liked our meat and he did just as we asked. The highlight of the meal was definitely the fried rice that Marvin had fried for us. Overall, our experience here was 10/10. The food was delicious and the service made it even so much better. The prices was very reasonable considering the quality of meat given. If you're looking for a good Korean bbq experience, this is the spot fit for any occasion! I will certainly come back to this place and recommend it to others! I give this place a 5 star!

This K-bbq place is a bit different from the others I have visited. I liked it! Since it was our first time here we tried a beef and pork combo. The large was plenty for 5 adults. It includes a ton of sides, choice of stew, and the best part is they start cooking it for you. Other than bringing food and checking in on the cooking, service is pretty low key but they are there if you need someone. The price is reasonable for the quality and quantity of the combo. Decor is pretty understated. It has an industrial feel with all the vents and metal. A unique draw - You can see them slicing slabs of meat behind the glass into individual portions.

The fact that I can be sat immediately and not have to go to K-Town is a huge win. Decent spot. Decent food. Will 100% be back. JY

My 2 cousins had been here before and enjoyed the food. My cousin suggested we come here since it was much easier to get to than going down to Koreatown. Some of my relatives had never had KBBQ before. I can't remember which combo we chose, but we made sure to have some non-pork options for my aunt. We also got 2 different soups and steamed egg. They pour the egg in an area around where the meat was cooking. Kinda cool! Also, the staff does some level of cooking for you which was kinda interesting. The food was good, but not the best KBBQ I've ever had. It's not bad if you don't want to struggle with parking in Ktown. And we came around lunch time so it wasn't busy. We got seated right away and we were a group of 10. And the ventilation was pretty good too! My clothes and hair didn't really smell all that much which was fantastic!

Meat quality is always top notch. Pork belly is really good here. The ribeye is one of my favorites and the marinated short rib. Their sauce is the best I've had across many KBBQ's! Sides are limited on what they give for the price. Service is always attentive and they move quick. Restaurant is on the louder side and kind of fast paced as they cook for you.

The first time I came here, I thought it was a decent korean bbq spot. My last visit a couple weeks ago changed my mind! We came in with outside drinks (which is not allowed) but they offered to store it in their fridge for us which was generous of them to do. I think the hardest part about KBBQ is cooking the meat while trying to eat, but they do it for you! The servers are very attentive which is hard to do especially when they may be in charge of cooking for multiple tables. The meat is cooked perfectly and goes well with the sauce. We love the banchan, and the cheese, corn and egg were nice additions on the sides. We've never had to wait both times and there's a lot of tables inside to accommodate for dinner rushes. This chain is one of my partners' favorite KBBQ spots. Can't wait to try the one that just opened closer to home in SJ!
